Bang Goes the Theory LIVE

In the past two years, over a quarter of a million people have put science and technology to the test at BBC One’s Bang Goes the Theory LIVE.

Following this success, Bang is back in 2011 and promises to be bigger and better than ever! The team are coming to Godiva Festival from 2-3 July to test, stretch and explode science – and they want you to get involved! Join the presenters as they perform live science demos and recreate some of the best stunts from the TV show. Then it’s your turn to get experimenting. Pick up some science tricks to impress your friends as Dr Yan demonstrates the best of his Street Science, and get hands-on with our interactive exhibits and discover what our partners have to offer. You can also meet the presenters, ask them your burning science questions and see some of the best builds from the show up-close.

Lives and Times

The Coventry & Warwickshire annual local and family history fayre
includes many local societies and museums, celebrating the rich
and diverse history of Coventry and the surrounding area.

Greenspace

Offering a unique mix of eco-friendly local and national
groups. Local craftsmen will give live demonstrations and
a variety of organisations will encourage and educate on
environmental issues.

Urban youth tent

The Urban Youth Tent is the place to be for teenagers and young people at Godiva Festival, featuring local MC’s, DJs, dancers and musicians. Experience the music, dance and art from some of Coventry’s top young performers. There will be music all day Saturday and Sunday with special performances throughout
the weekend! Take part in our giant interactive art installation, and other activities. There will be a selection of stalls providing information and services for young people including the C-Card and “Got it” teams.
